We continue to expand the search criteria for Tablao in Seville. I already mentioned the importance of the location as the first requirement, that the place to focus is the surroundings of the Cathedral and the Alcazar, since they are the monuments that must be visited mainly.
Once the radius is established, we have to define what we are looking for. The Tourist Information Office of the Plaza del Triunfo establishes three types of establishments with a flamenco proposal: Tablaos that offer food and drink during the show’s development, Tablaos that offer basically 1 hour of structured singing and dancing and finally flamenco bars, where There is no need to pay admission and the shows are shorter and informal.
Mostly, the passes start at 7pm. Hence, Tablaos with simultaneous dinner and show are a good option for people who prefer to dine early. If the schedule is not a problem, the Tablaos that focus on the show work like a theater (an opera, a ballet), flamenco and nothing else. The bars are places more improvisation, sometimes without a fixed show, which give a sense of acoustic concert.
We have to ask ourselves if we want to have dinner while we watch the show, if we want to prioritize it or if we prefer it to be the background accompaniment.
